Is this an official AppGallery publishing tool?
No. It is a practical promo draft builder that helps turn screenshots into a short video locally in the browser.
Can I switch to landscape or square?
Yes. The page starts in portrait mode, but the full canvas controls remain available inside the same tool.
Does export stay on device?
Yes. Preview and export are local-only and do not require server-side video rendering.
Does AppGallery accept an uploaded video?
Yes, AppGallery Connect takes an uploaded video file for the app listing, which is different from Google Play's YouTube-link-only approach. Check the console for the current duration and file-size limits before rendering.
What format should the video be?
MP4 with H.264. This tool produces exactly that where the browser exposes WebCodecs, and falls back to WebM otherwise, so use a Chromium browser if you need the MP4 path.
Vertical or landscape?
Vertical 1080 x 1920 is the default and suits a phone-first listing. Landscape 1920 x 1080 is available if your app is a landscape game or a tablet-first product.
Does the video need sound?
It is not required, but a silent promo video looks unfinished to a user. This tool exports a video track only, so audio has to be added in a separate editor.
Can I use design mockups instead of real screenshots?
Not safely. AppGallery's review checks that listing content reflects the actual app, and a promo video built from mockups that do not match the submitted build is a review risk.
